This May, Hope Health Action is running one of their biggest ever fundraising campaigns, to raise £60,000 for their disability projects in Haiti, Uganda and South Sudan.
All donations (up to the value of £5,000) will be doubled for the whole month, thanks to £30,000 of match funds from a generous foundation. That means your gift in May will go twice as far towards providing dignity, mobility, and independence for some of the most vulnerable people in the world.
TUNE IN TO HHA’S BBC RADIO 4 APPEAL
As part of Matched May, HHA will be featured on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal! Tune in on Sunday, May 5th at 07:54 and 21:25, and again on Thursday, May 9th at 15:27 to hear Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds explain why your support matters so much this month.
YOUR GIFT GOES TWICE AS FAR TOWARDS BRINGING HOPE TO LIFE
Disability does not have to mean inability. But every day is a struggle for thousands of people living in vulnerable communities across the world, where they don’t have access to the care and support they need. Hope Health Action is working to change this by providing holistic care, support, resources and education in some of the most vulnerable regions. And in May, anything you give will go twice as far towards helping them to do that. Twice as far towards giving a wheelchair to a person who has spent their whole life crawling on the ground; twice as far towards providing a South Sudanese refugee with a disability with the seeds and tools they need to grow their food – giving them not only food security but also independence; twice as far towards creating a custom-made prosthetic leg that will provide mobility and dignity.
This May, your donation will go twice as far towards demonstrating that disability is not inability, and twice as far towards bringing hope to life. You can donate throughout May at: hopehealthaction.org or send a cheque to Hope Health Action, 25 Coney Hill Road, BR4 9BU. Thank you!
