We will be celebrating Harvest this year on the 5th and 6th of October. 

Saturday 5th October at 10.00 am we will decorate the church. If you would like to be involved please bring a pumpkin and a bunch of flowers. This is for everyone so come and have some fun. Also if you are making soup and would like to do it in the big pans at the church then the kitchen is waiting for you. (please let Christine know if you are making soup and remember to make a list of ingredients.)

Sunday 6th October. Harvest celebration. We celebrate harvest by thanking God for all his provision for us in so many ways. We often meet and have a big meal, whether it is a roast, curry or BBQ. It is not like that for everyone, many served by the Hayes Food Bank do not know where their next meal is coming from. I was reminded of the wonderful truth in God’s word where Jesus blessed the food, fed thousands and had 12 baskets left over. I thought —– we could fill 12 baskets and be Jesus to the community helping them to know there is a meal for them. The challenge is that we only have 7 baskets so if you have a basket you could loan us to fill then that would be wonderful. There is a list of items that are required on below so bring them along any time between now and 6th October. Thank you for this expression of God’s love.
