Brenda Cordingley’s funeral will be at midday at Hayes Free Church on 8th July.

Service: noon, Hayes Free Church, 111 Pickhurst Lane, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7HU.

Committal: 1.30 pm, St Mary the Virgin, Hayes Street, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7LH

Wake/Reception: at 2:00 pm, Hayes Village Hall, Hayes Street, Bromley, Kent, BR2 7LH

The churches are both quite close to each other, so you are welcome to walk between them (weather permitting). It is uphill and quite steep, so not suitable for all. We don’t have a dress code; if you want to wear black, please do. However, Mum would want you to be comfortable and happy, so we ask that you come as you want. That may be in black, colours, rainbows, dressed up or smart casual. We leave it to you. After the committal, we will be having a wake at the Hayes Village Hall. This is next door to the Graveyard, so easy to get to. We ask for family only flowers for the funeral, but if you would like to do something in Mum’s memory, we have set up donation links to 3 charities that have family connections and were close to Mum’s heart (you can do this via the above link)
