Our hall and back of the church are becoming very popular and busy with bookings for parties and 1st Aid courses which run during the week as well as at weekends. However, to keep these going we need volunteers to open up and greet the hirers and show them where everything is and then come back to lock up when they’ve finished.
It is a great witness to welcome people into our church building who might not necessarily ever go to church. If you could help out just once a month please speak to Sarah, Thank you
coffee bar duties
On a Wednesday evening between 6.30 – 8 pm, we open the coffee bar and serve tea and coffee to the parents of the children who come to the special needs scout group. This is a great time for the parents to come and chat with each other and relax. The parents and staff who run the group are so appreciative of the church and this service we provide for them and of course, it’s a great chance for us to witness God’s love!
