PF’s mission is to show Christ’s love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We seek through prayer and practical care to help, support and develop a Christian ministry to people in prison and their families.

Letter Link Programme

People in prison often feel extremely lonely and isolated, and many have lost touch with their family and friends on the outside. A letter might be the only communication someone in prison receives and can provide huge encouragement and a link to the outside world. Our letter-writing programme enables prisoners to feel valued and supported while in custody. Whilst all volunteers are welcome there is a shortage of male volunteers willing to write to people in prison.
